We provide advice and assistance to anyone being questioned by the police in the South West of England. Where eligible this will be covered under our Legal Aid Contract free of charge.
Do not let the police talk you out of this right to assistance, it may make a huge difference to your case if you do not get this early support.

Magistrates and Crown Court Advocacy
Many cases can be dealt with at the Magistrates’ Court some may be sent to the Crown Court for trial by Jury or for sentencing. We regularly represent clients at courts throughout the Westcountry and also, when requested, cover all courts throughout England and Wales including the Court of Appeal.

Fees and Legal Aid
We are contracted with the Legal Aid Agency. We will advise you whether you qualify for Legal Aid. If eligible, your case may be covered by a Representation Order in accordance with the terms set out by the Legal Aid Agency (LAA).
If you do not qualify or do not wish to apply for Legal Aid you can pay for our services privately. We will provide you with the best estimate of costs at all stages of your case. If you wish to instruct us, you will be required to pay an initial fee which will enable us to commence work immediately. You will then be provided with interim invoices until the conclusion of your case. The fees we charge cannot exceed the limit that you agree.
In some cases we may be able to offer a fixed fee as opposed to charging an hourly rate. Charges will vary from case-to-case. Please contact us for more details.
